Sidney Powell is an impressive resume. Sidney Powell started her career as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of Texas and later worked in the Eastern District of Virginia. At one point she was the president of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers as well as the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit. Sidney also has her own firm called Sidney Powell, P.C. that she opened in 1992. Her practice specializes in complex litigation, having dealt with $3 billion dollar asbestos cases, international aerospace contract issues, employment discrimination cases and everything in between. Sidney was the form president and founder of The Genesis Alliance, an all-volunteer non-profit women’s shelter. She was also the past president of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit.
